There are six spacious and stylish guest rooms in the recently renovated Barn. Each is beautifully decorated and comfortably furnished, providing a pleasing blend of modern comfort with old style character.

The largest of the rooms is a spacious room with a magnificent Four Poster Bed. The imposing 6ft bed has been constructed using French antique panels which feature a design of carved vine leaves. This is a common marriage motif. In addition, there are two double rooms with king-size beds (5ft), three double rooms with super king-size beds (6ft). One of these can be made up with twin beds if required, and one room is wheelchair-accessible.

Sleeping...

All the beds are extremely comfortable, with quality mattresses, and either cosy goose down duvets for cooler nights, or lighter-weight duvets for the summer months, to ensure a good night’s sleep.

The beds will be specially prepared for you, so if you have any particular
requirements (eg a preference for anti-allergy pillows, or an extra blanket)
please let me know in advance so we can make the appropriate arrangements.

Relaxing...

Each guest room has a comfortable seating area with a large sofa to make your stay more relaxing. There is a flat screen television with DVD / CD player and Freeview digital channels are available. Wireless Internet access
is also available.

In each guest room there is a refreshment area with a kettle, a small sink,
and a fridge where you will find complimentary mineral water and a little jug
of fresh milk which is replenished daily. The hospitality tray is well stocked
with tea and coffee, herbal teas and infusions, biscuits, and your own little
tea pot. There are also two wine glasses and a corkscrew.

Bathing...

The en-suite bathrooms are spacious and feature walk-in “wet room” style
showers, heated towel rails, and “soft close” loo seats. The Four Poster
room also has a large bath in addition to the “walk-in” shower.

You will also find a range of quality “Spa Therapy” toiletries, cotton wool balls
and fluffy towels, bath sheets, face cloths and bathrobes, and a hairdryer.

A breath of air...

All rooms are on the ground floor with French doors opening on to a west-facing terrace with views over the open fields, where sheep and lambs graze in the spring and summer months and my little family of Guinea Fowl
forage for seeds and insects.

You can sit on the terrace and enjoy a cup of tea in the afternoon sunshine,
or indeed a glass of wine in the warm summer evenings.

There is ample parking directly outside the rooms which makes the accommodation easily accessible for the less able guest.
