Fantastic overnight stay!
We have just left this B&B after a fantastic overnight stay, breaking our journey from Edinburgh to Essex. I can’t speak highly enough of the warm welcome we received from Karen, our hostess, who
gave us tips about the area.
The accommodation was first class, with a very spacious warm room consisting of a massive comfy bed and lounging area looking over a field full of wildlife. The bathroom was also spacious with
both a bath and separate shower.
There was also a kitchenette area with tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge.
The things that made the stay special were
all the small touches such as lovely glasses,
even in the bathroom, small chocolate
treats, and a welcoming snack.
We will definitely return to this lovely B&B on one of our many trips to Scotland to visit family.
Quiet relaxing rural setting with
My wife and I booked one night for New Year's Eve at Brickfields Farm as a restful getaway from home. We were welcomed by the new hostess (Karen) who told us she and her husband had only taken over Brickfields Farm a few days ago.
The room was spacious, well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities and some biscuits. The room was very quiet allowing a good night's sleep.
Breakfast was excellent; we chose the fresh fruit salad and followed with the Yorkshire breakfast and toast. We were entertained by the Guinea fowl outside during the meal.
